Zinc and Zinc Alloy WireZinc wire and ZnAl alloy wires are used to apply zinc and zinc-aluminum coatings by thermal spraying to protect various steel components and structures against corrosion. They are also used in the electrical engineering industry.
Coating application technologies: spray metallizing – arc spraying and flame spraying.
The wires are made of SHG (Super High Grade) zinc – the highest-purity grade of electrolytic zinc, containing a minimum of 99.995% pure zinc (designated Z1 according to PN-EN 1179).
Zinc wire: min. Zn 99.99.
Alloy wire: ZnAl2, ZnAl4, ZnAl15, ZnAl22.
